I had started to line the bodice with one method (Hand stitching the under lining to the fashion fabric), but I got off track and all around the shoulder seam everything was off. To make the underlining fit the fabric, I kept cutting the underlining down to make it work. This only made it all worse. So I decided to take it all out and try for a different method.
I did cannibalize the the underlining and decided to pad stitch that to a new under lining to give the bodice body and firmness that I need. I just finished that and can now pin all the layer together and then get started on the binding. I may go ahead and use the gold to bind it all, I need to think on that a bit.

Looks Good for a bit

Nice curve

Then it got weird
And now this

A mockery of pad stitching, I was trying to find a good rhythm

Front is much nicer to know
Do you think the binding in the gold would be too distracting?
I should be able to get most of the bodice done this weekend.
If I am lucky I will get the sleeves cut out as well as the skirt.
